Dear Jesus,
I know that I need You, and I believe that You are the Son of God. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again, and I believe that You did this because You love me. Today, I turn toward You. I ask You to forgive me for my sins and to come into my life. I surrender my heart to You and choose to put my faith and trust in You. Help me to know You, follow You, and become more like You each day. Teach me to hear Your voice, trust Your Word, and walk in Your ways. When I fall, remind me of Your grace and help me begin again. Thank You for loving me, forgiving me, and giving me the gift of new life. I give my life to You.
Jesus, I choose You. Lead me from this day forward.
Amen.
There is no “perfect” way to pray. Prayer is simply having an honest conversation with God. You don’t need fancy words, a certain posture, or a perfect script. Come to Him exactly as you are and speak from your heart. God cares about the sincerity behind your words. When you pray, you can simply thank God for who He is and for what He has done, confess the things you need forgiveness for, ask Him for what you need, and surrender your worries and desires to Him. We should come to God not only when we need something, but also with grateful hearts, remembering to thank Him for His love, grace, guidance, and blessings.
Jesus invites us to bring everything to Him: our joys, our fears, our questions, our needs, and our gratitude. Prayer isn't about saying the right words; it's about building a genuine relationship with God.
